Central Bank of India holds credit awareness program in Jamshedpur and disburses Rs 35 crore loan to 125 people

Jamshedpur, December 10: On Friday, a mega credit camp was successfully organized by the regional office of the Central Bank of India, Ranchi, as part of the credit awareness program at United Club, Jamshedpur. The program was inaugurated by Alok Srivastava, Executive Director of the Central Bank of India.

Addressing the rally, the executive director said the nation was celebrating Amrit Mahotsav’s 75th independence. With this in mind, a credit awareness program has been launched by the Central Bank across the country.

Welcoming all esteemed clients and the main guest, the Senior Regional Manager of Ranchi Area Ajay Kumar Singh briefed on the purpose of this program and stated that this event is to facilitate the award process. loan facilities to people in need; as well as reducing the turn-around loan disbursement times so that loans can be extended to beneficiaries as quickly as possible. He said that the Central Bank of India is committed to step by step in realizing the government’s vision of a self-sufficient India. Subsequently, Ajay Singh, Senior Regional Director of the Central Bank of India, also spoke to a group of clients and women’s voluntary organizations. Along with this, checks were issued to clients of MSME Agriculture, Vehicle Loan, Housing Loan to volunteer groups by various bank branches in Kolhan.

During the program, loans of Rs 34 million were disbursed to 125 people.

Kolhan University Vice Chancellor Shukla Mohanty, RN Mohanty, businessman and social worker Rajan Kamani and TRF Company officials also expressed their views as Central Bank clients. .

Alok Srivastava, executive director, added that the bank has a network of 4,594 branches and a large customer base of over 5 crore of Indian account holders. In Jharkhand, the Central Bank has done commendable work in implementing government development programs and social security related schemes like Atal Pension Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Account Scheme etc. The central bank continuously plays a leading role in connecting the disadvantaged group with the mainstream by providing loans to self-help groups in the state.
