Bombay (Maharashtra) [India], Jan 23 (ANI): Shah Rukh Khan has once again proved he is the king of hearts with his touching gesture of sending an autographed photo and a handwritten note to an Egyptian travel agent fan.
On December 31, 2021, Twitter user Ashwini Deshpande shared that an Egyptian travel agent trusted her during a money transfer issue because she is from Shah Rukh Khan’s country.
She tweeted: “I needed to transfer money to a travel agency in Egypt. I was having trouble with the transfer. He said: you are from @iamsrk’s country. I trust you. I I’ll make the reservation, you pay me later. For anywhere else I wouldn’t do this. But anything for @iamsrk. And he did!”
The tweet went viral and after meeting the SRK fan, Deshpande asked Red Chillies Entertainment for an autographed photo of SRK for the Egyptian fan’s daughter.
She tweeted: “My husband and I finally met the man in this story today! Told him about the tsunami of good humor generated by his story. @RedChilliesEnt: He would love a pic from @iamsrk, autographed in her daughter’s name if possible. Please DM me if this can be arranged, thank you!”
Their wish was granted, as on Saturday Deshpande informed that they had received three signed photos from SRK with a personalized message.
She shared, “A very happy ending to this story. 3 photos signed by SRK arrived today, one with the most beautiful message for the Egyptian travel agent, one for his daughter and one for mine @Ketaki_Varma. Thanks @pooja_dadlani for reaching out and of course to @iamsrk for the gracious gesture.”
In the handwritten note for his fan from Egypt, Shah Rukh wrote, “Thank you for being kind to my fellow Indian. Very kind and generous of you. May your good souls multiply.”
The superstar has been notably absent from the public eye since his son Aaryan Khan was embroiled in an alleged drugs affair in October last year.
However, last week King Khan returned to Instagram after four months, posting an advertisement for an electronic brand, in which he appears with his wife Gauri Khan. (ANI)
